The Office of Educational Program presents Science Thursdays with Brookhaven Lab taking place on November 17th from 4:00 to 4:45 pm. This session will cover Control Engineering at NSLS-II.
Presenting is Chris Guerrero, Senior Technology Analyst at Brookhaven National Laboratory who acts as a Controls Engineer for the Data Science and Systems Integration program at the National Synchrotron Light Source II (NSLS-II). His work is focused on developing the beamline control systems for the Hard X-ray Scattering and Spectroscopy Program at NSLS-II and supports the motion controls and equipment protection subsystems. He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Fordham University in May 2015.
