Northwell Health – One Year Later – COVID-19

Northwell Health COVID-19

As we look back at the past year and how COVID-19 has impacted our way of life, we remember where we started, what we’ve learned about the disease, and how far we’ve come in our fight against the pandemic. No one understands this hard-fought journey more than our healthcare heroes – the ones who kept us safe, cared for our sick loved ones, and continued to battle COVID-19 from the frontlines.

Now as the vaccination rollout is well underway, Northwell Health, is leading the charge. Northwell’s frontliners were the first to take and give the COVID-19 vaccine in the US. The vaccine vials and other items used that day are being sent to the Smithsonian museum to be preserved for history.

Check out the video below as Northwell Health healthcare workers recount the past year and share their thoughts on a hopeful future.
