The Long Island STEM Hub is excited to announce a new opportunity to learn how your student can grow their future on Long Island at Career Conversations. Why? Because we recognize all the great opportunities there are right here on Long Island particullary in areas of Science, Technology, Enginnering, and Math (STEM), and how your child can help take local companies to the next level!

Career Conversations is a night designed for your middle or high school student- the next generation of employees – and for you! Industries from healthcare to engineering to aviation and more will be on hand to talk about the limitless career avenues that await your child. We invite you to hear from these young, STEM workforce leaders through quick segmented “STEM Talks” and then, engage with companies in our region and higher education institutions to understand the steps needed to obtain successful careers in the future. This exciting initiative is FREE for you to attend and will be held at 6PM on Wednesday, October 24th at the Cradle of Aviation Museum, Garden City.

We hope you and your student will leave prepared with the knowledge he/she needs to make informed decisions about their future, a better awareness of Long Island career options, and how their individual personalities can help guide them to a viable career path.

Students must be accompanied by an adult or they will not be admitted.
